Hotel Information: A stained-glass tower in Sandals breezy lobby heralds the colorful, open-air ambience. Both group activities and privacy are available around the densely planted grounds.
Amenity highlights: Three medium-sized and one large pool are situated around the grounds. Eight-person spa tubs are paired with the smaller pools. Surrounded by a thick garden, the large pool comprises a good-size round section and a smaller section that curves around a two-sided swim-up bar. Adjacent is a 20-person spa tub. The beach fronting the resort provides a half-mile of nearly white sand.
Insider tip: Dressing up is encouraged, with theme nights such as floral wear, pirate costumes, black-and-white, Antiguan flag colors, and "formal, casually elegant" wear.
